Pick the plan that matches how often you publish.

Free covers an ordinary afternoon of work and asks for no account at all. Plus lifts the compression count and raises the per-image ceiling; Studio lifts the conversion count as well. Both paid plans turn the ads off.

The plans

Three plans, one tool

Every plan compresses in your browser and hands you a finished file to download. What changes is how large a single image can be and which of the two session counts is lifted.

Start here

Free

Everything you need to publish a page this afternoon.

  • PNG, JPEG, WebP and AVIF, compressed in your browser
  • A finished file to download for every image
  • No account, no sign-up and no card
  • Compressions and conversions are each counted for the session
  • An ad beside the tool while the session runs

For a heavy publishing day

Plus

As many compressions as the work needs.

  • Every Free feature, with the counts lifted as listed below
  • Unlimited compressions per session
  • A higher per-image size ceiling than Free
  • No ads on the page
  • Conversions stay on the session count, exactly as they are on Free

For compressions and conversions together

Studio

Compressions and conversions together, neither of them counted.

  • Every Free feature, with the counts lifted as listed below
  • Unlimited compressions per session
  • Unlimited conversions per session
  • A higher per-image size ceiling than Free
  • No ads on the page

Plus and Studio

Both paid plans reach every Free feature, raise the per-image ceiling and turn the ads off. What separates them is which of the two session counts is lifted. The counts in force for this visit are listed in the next section, straight from Shrinkly.

This session

What your plan allows right now

Shrinkly answers with the plan you are on, the ceiling it carries and how much of this session is already spent. The figures below are that answer.

Shrinkly could not read your allowance just now. Ask it again.

Counting

How a session is counted

The allowance belongs to the session, not to the calendar, and every plan is measured the same way.

  1. Drop the images you were about to publish.

PNG, JPEG, WebP and AVIF, any mix of them in one go.

  2. Shrinkly checks the size first.

An image above your plan’s ceiling is stopped before any work starts, because no allowance makes an oversized file fit.

  3. Then it checks what the session has already spent.

Shrinkly’s backend keeps the tally of compressions and conversions, so the count holds for as long as the session does.

  4. The finished file comes back ready to download.

It keeps the file’s original base name and takes the extension of the format you chose.

Questions

Questions about the plans

Do I need an account for the free plan?

No. Shrinkly opens straight into the tool: no sign-up, no card, nothing to remember. The free allowance is counted for your session and needs no account behind it.

What happens when a session’s allowance is spent?

Shrinkly stops starting new compressions once the compression count is reached, and new conversions once the conversion count is reached. The two are counted separately: Plus lifts the compression count, Studio lifts the conversion count as well, and the counts in force for this visit are listed under “What your plan allows right now” above.

Which formats can I bring?

PNG, JPEG, WebP and AVIF — the four that cover most of the web. Any mix of them can go through in the same session.

What does Shrinkly send to its backend?

The kind of work that finished and the size of the image in bytes, so the ceiling and the session count can be checked. The compression itself runs in your browser.

Why does the free plan carry an ad?

A free session needs no account and no card, and the ad beside the tool pays for it. Both paid plans turn the ad off, and Shrinkly answers with whatever is in force for your plan in the section above.
